Hello my dears! This week I turned one year older, and (hopefully) one year wiser! I am such a birthday person through and through. I love celebrating my loved ones birthdays and I love celebrating my own too. I was whining my face off to Jake about my birthday this year because I wanted to go on a trip, but it's just not practical at this stage in our lives. We're moving to a new place next week and have had tons of unforeseen expenses recently, so we'll just have to put on our big kid panties and push the pause button on traveling. 

Jake was so sweet and took the day off work to hang out with me and planned the whole day out. We went to the Phoenix Zoo which was SO much fun. We were running around like toddlers, just having a grand old time. Since my birthday fell on a Tuesday, we pretty much had the entire zoo to ourselves. The giraffes and the flamingos were my favorite. Then we went to the mall to pick up my birthday dress and then had sushi for dinner. It was kind of the best. 

It's times like these where I'm filled with gratitude for all the genuinely good and kind people who are in my life. I'm wildly blessed.
