um... haha... yeah. I'm kinda weird. Not sure if you picked up on that yet. ;)
My sweet husband completely exhausted by the end. <3
The girl behind all the beauty. She does wonders with florals/event planning. Check her out here. (Her new website is coming soon and I couldn't be happier for her!)

Outpourings of love overwhelm me. They make me emotional. They make me feel. They make me reflect. This past weekend was one of those times. I cannot comprehend how I lucked out in the family, friend, and husband departments. It's almost unfair. ;)

Last Friday, I was having the most glorious day. Work was a breeze, the sun was shining, and life just felt extra good. I got home after work and was planning on going to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. Little did I know what my sweet husband had planned. (Mush alert: So in love with that man.) After a series of ignorant happenings (I'm usually so perceptive too!), I walked into the most beautiful surprise party. From floral garlands, to floral crowns, to gold-tasseled balloons. It was perfect. The only thing that would have made it more perfect is having my dear parents and brother there.

Growing up is such a funny thing. I never fully understood the magnitude of love I have for my family until I got married. I tear up at the mere thought of them. It's a beautiful thing, growing up. Full of surprise and understanding and love.

*Special thanks to my handsome husband for putting this together and to one of my best friends, Amber, for adding her magical touch to this special day.
