A FEW THOUGHTS ON 2017...

Has anyone else gotten sucked into all the 2017 recaps in people's IG stories? As I watched beautiful story after story, I started feeling a bit inadequate and unaccomplished in 2017. I didn’t travel enough, didn’t reach career goals, didn’t read enough books, didn’t attain the body I’ve been working for, and felt a world of worry and sadness this year. But as I was scrolling through my own photo memories on my phone, I realized this year has brought about so much growth and good, and it isn’t fair to let the shortcomings outshine the triumphs. Here’s to the good and bad in 2017. May everything we experienced bring about positive growth for a better new year to come.

Thank YOU for being along for the ride. Wishing you all a beautiful and blessed 2018! xx

(I wonder how long it'll take me to stop writing 2017 when I'm writing the date on things.)

  1. That skirt is fabulous!! Ugh, don't let those stories and recaps get to you, most of them are edited! In 2017, I planned to lose ten pounds and guess what, I gained ten pounds instead! Now I need to lose twenty! Ugh! You're doing great and keep on working towards your goals!
