It's starting to get really chilly and I'm the biggest baby when it comes to the cold. I feel like it happened overnight. Like one day I'm wearing and cursing the sun and the next I'm straight up shivering my butt off. I'm currently wearing my thick, fuzzy purple robe (which is frequently featured on my snapchat: jaysicles), sweatpants, fuzzy socks, while wrapped under three blankets. It's 55 degrees right now, which isn't even that cold but like I said, I'm a baby.
One of my favorite trends during the fall season this year has been the neck-ties scarves. I have been loving on them big time and feel like they add a little something special to my outfits. I found the top I'm wearing at ZARA (similar HERE) and love how put together I feel without having to accessorize too much. These neck-tie blouses are the perfect thing to wear while transitioning into winter.
I don't mean to get all heavy on you guys, but some things are too important not to talk about. I can't help but feel like the sudden coldness has come in accordance with the times. With everything that has been going on in the world, I've definitely taken a step back to think about what really matters.
My heart is broken for the people affected by the terrorist attacks in Paris over the weekend. It's difficult for me to understand the actions of humankind at times. Even though these attacks happened in what feels like a world away, I feel we are all connected. I pray for every single soul involved, even for the ones who think they can make a difference through violence. Remember that as troubled as some people can be, the number of good + kind humans on this earth greatly out-numbers those who are not. Let's not allow that relatively small number of people outshine the goodness of humanity. xoxo
