dress: c/o Eshakti || shoes: Nordstrom || earrings: J. Crew (love these) || clutch: ASOS (in black here)
So confession. I have been approached by Eshakti in the past to work together but I honestly wasn't sure if I was digging their clothes so I declined. This time around, I decided to give it a shot because I noticed more than a handful of pieces I could picture myself wearing.
You guys.
I am a complete idiot for not shopping here before.
The dress I decided to get was kind of a risk because at first glance, it doesn't seem like much. But I took a leap of faith and hoped for the best. I am happy to say that this is no joke one of my favorite dresses EVER. Yeah, yeah. I know it's simple, but it's the most flattering midi dress every and just perfect in every way. I love the oversized fit, the back seeming, the pockets, the side slits, the shirt-tail hem, the buttons, the color, and of course the customized length. It totally has the feel of a Reformation item but for half the price.
Eshakti allows for customization on their products so I was able to switch up this dress from a maxi dress to a more modern looking midi dress. Not only can you customize the length of their items, but you can also customize sleeve lengths and necklines. It's pretty wonderful.
Since I wasn't positive what the actual length of the midi dress would be, I fibbed a little on my height and maybe told them I was 2 inches taller than I really am, and I'm pretty happy with that decision. For me, midi's can sometimes end at an unflattering spot on my legs so I wanted it to hit at the bottom of my calf which I have found to be the most flattering. Success, people.
You lucky butts get $35 off your purchase just by signing up for their emails. I shared some of my other Eshakti picks below. Hope you like them!
Check back tomorrow for my picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! It's going to be a good one! :)
